A. Safety
1. There are some safety factors such as rotating with high speed, high temperature, pressure, high air flow, industry voltage, etc. Please obey strictly the relevant safety rules before maintenance.
2. The power must be switched off before entering the expanding vessel or approaching the discharging gates.
3. The expanding vessel is sealed well, the ventilation must be ensured before entering.
4. There is pressure in the pneumatic pipes, the protection measure must be equipped when checking.
5. The working voltage is 380V AC, please obey strictly the relevant safety rules.
6. There is steam with high temperature when running, please protect properly.
7. The working at height is necessary during maintenance, please obey the safety rules.
B Daily maintenance
ü General checking,
1. Check the mistake alarm contents, and resolve on time.
2. Check the fastening status of the mechanical and electrical components, such as sealing of the pipes, connection of the wires.
3. Check the action of the moving parts, ensure it moves smoothly.
4. Check the valves(angle valves, butterfly valves, etc), ensure they open and close smoothly.
ü Expanding vessel maintenance
1. Check the steam plates to see whether the mounting bolts are loosen or
not, if yes, re-fasten them using the Thread adhesive of high temperature.
2. Check the vessel to see whether there is any blocks, cleaning when necessary.
3. Check the cleaning points, if there is blocking, clean on time.
4. Check the leveling sensor, and clean it when necessary.
5. Check the blending knife, if the knife is loosen, fasten it.
6. Check the holding poles, if loosen, fasten them.
7. Check the coupling status, ensure the components are connected well.
ü Discharge Gate,
1. Please open the discharge gate when finishing work every shift, and check the gate side, ensure there is no eps beads left on the side.
2. Open and close the gate several times, check the moving of the gate, it must move smoothly.
ü Dosing system and the pipes,
1. Check the pipes, if there are some dust stick on the pipe inner wall, clean it.
2. Check the dosing blower, it should run smoothly without sharp noise.
ü Heating bed
1. Clean the heating bed on time when finishing work.
2. Clean up the lumps in screening area.
3. Check the gap between the screening knife and the screen plate, normally the gap should be around 10mm, if there is deviation, correct on time.
4. Clean up the dust which stick on the Gauze mesh.
ü Weighing unit
1. Check the weighing unit, it must be placed firmly without any shaking.
2. Check the moving of the cylinders, they must move smoothly without any shaking or Collision.
ü Electrical componets.
1. Clean the cabinet, ensure there is no any foam, metal, inflammable, etc.
2. Check the connection of the cables, if loosen, re-fasten them.
C. Weekly maintenance
ü General Checking
1. Check the motors and reducers movement, they should work smoothly without unmoral noise, overheat, breaking, if yes, repair immediately.
2. Check the status of the breakers, the thermal protectors, relays, ensure they work correctly.
ü Expanding vessel
1. Check the filter mesh cover, if there is block or damage, clean or replace it.
2. Check the sealing of the agitating shaft and the vessel, there should be no steam leakage.
3. Check the bearing of the main shaft which is mounted on the top of the vessel, and grease it if necessary.
4. Check the gap between the blending knife and the steam plates, normally the gap should be 5mm-6mm, if there is deviation, please adjust the height of the main shaft. There is the adjusting nut on the top of the shaft, adjust the shaft height by turning this nut.
ü Dosing unit and the pipes
1. Open the infeed hopper, check the mesh cover status, if it has been stick with the dust, clean on time.
2. Open the filter barrels, check the status of the filter element and the filter cotton, if they are dirty, please change on time.
ü Heating bed
1. Check the heating room which is on the bottom of the heating bed, if there are some eps beads or dust in it, please clean on time.
2. Check the blowing holes of the heating plates, if there is any block, clean them.
ü Electrical componets.
3. Clean the cabinet, ensure there is no any foam, metal, inflammable, etc.
4. Check the connection of the cables, if loosen, re-fasten them.
D. Monthly maintenance
ü General Checking
1. Check the motors and reducers movement, they should work smoothly without unmoral noise, overheat, breaking, if yes, repair immediately.

1. Check the steam plates, the heating holes should not be blocked by the dust, if yes, clean on time.
2. Check the gap between the blending knife and the steam plates, normally the gap should be 5mm-6mm, if there is deviation, please adjust the height of the main shaft. There is the adjusting nut on the top of the shaft, adjust the shaft height by turning this nut.
ü Discharge gate,
1. Check the magnetic sensors of the cylinder, they should be sensitive enough.
2. Check the sealing plates (PTFE), the surface should not be damaged. If the surface is damaged, should replace it.
ü Heating bed
1. Check the heating room which is on the bottom of the heating bed, if there are some eps beads or dust in it, please clean on time.
2. Check the blowing holes of the heating plates, if there is any block, clean them.
ü Electrical componets.
1. Clean the cabinet, ensure there is no any foam, metal, inflammable, etc.
2. Check the connection of the cables, if loosen, re-fasten them.
E. Yearly maintenance
ü General Checking
1. It is suggested that make total maintenance by stopping machine 1-2 days.
Expanding vessel
1. Check the sealing status of the vessel. Close the discharge gate and the valves, input the steam in, check whether there is any leakage in the vessel.
2. Check the agitating system thoroughly, and repair or change the components which have been worn.
3. Dismantle the steam plates, and do the cleaning for the heating holes to ensure the holes not block by the dust.
4. Re-fasten the poles in the vessel.
5. Change the gear oil for the reducer, the type of the oil is L-CKC150/200#. Normally the oil must be changed after every 500-800hrs running.
ü Discharge gate,
1. Check the magnetic sensors of the cylinder, they should be sensitive enough.
2. Check the sealing plates (PTFE), the surface should not be damaged. If the surface is damaged, should replace it.
ü Heating bed
1. Normally the mesh plates were blocked by the steam and the dust. So if yes, replac by new one.
2. Sponge sealing strips should be replaced with new one.
ü Piping system
1. Check all of the valves sealing rings, if the sealing rings were worn, change them to ensure good sealing effect.
ü Electrical system
1. Make thorough maintenance according to the electrical maintenance rules.
